📦 Data We Collect
📧 Account Data
When you create an account or sign in, Samplink collects:
- Your email address
Your email address is used only to:
- Identify your account
- Provide access to authenticated features
Samplink does not store passwords. Authentication uses email-based flows only.
🌐 Network Request Data
While you are actively inspecting a browser tab through Chrome DevTools, Samplink may capture network request and response information, including:
- Request URLs
- Request and response headers
- HTTP status codes
- Response bodies

⚙️ Extension Preferences
Samplink stores your active mock preset using chrome.storage.local.
This helps restore your working state after DevTools is closed.
This preference data remains on your device and never leaves your browser.
🚫 Data We Do Not Collect
Samplink does not collect:
- Browsing history
- Personally identifiable information beyond your email address
- Payment information
- Data from tabs you are not actively inspecting in DevTools

Samplink is designed to keep captured network data local to your browser.
- Local data remains inside your browser’s sandboxed storage.
- Account credentials are transmitted using HTTPS.
- Passwords are not stored by Samplink.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Samplink evolves.
